Let customers speak for us
from 71 reviewsGreat customer service and fast shipping! Archive is your go-to source for 1st gen Dodge trucks!
Purchased and installed a set of MD leaf springs on my first gen tundra. Super happy with them, a huge upgrade over my worn out, 26 year old springs. Install was pretty easy other than cutting off a few rusty bolts. Eric was super helpful in talking me through all of the options over the phone.
I had a great experience with Archive Garage. Before ordering, I spoke with Eric and he really took the time to understand my current setup and future plans. I told him I’m running Bilstein 6112 up front and Bilstein 5160 with AccuTune bump stops, and that I’m planning to add a Lone Peak camper on my Tacoma. He walked me through what the Erikson MD lift springs would feel like, how they would handle the added weight, and what to expect both on-road and off-road. What I liked most is he didn’t just try to sell parts he actually helped me plan my build the right way. He explained the balance between ride comfort and load support, and gave honest input on future upgrades I might need. Customer service and communication were excellent. If you’re building your Tacoma for overlanding or adding weight like a camper, I highly recommend Archive Garage.
The hammer hangers, shackles, crossbar and add-a-leaf were well packed and arrived without a scratch. All hardware was accounted for and no issues with bad threads. The advise given that was recommended for my situation was spot on. The upgrade results was as expected.
Since I have owned this 2021 Toyota Tacoma double cab off-road it has always surprised me. Unfortunately it was in a bad way. The rear suspension was terrible. I could never put the power down. It would always wheel hop and skip in corners off roading and on road occasionally.
Now it is finally surprising me in a good way. It is now out performing the front of my truck. I have fox elite coil overs on the front with about 2.5 inches of lift and aftermarket upper control arms. I am not going to go long travel on the front but that would be the only way to keep up with the back now. I am so thankful I did not waste my time getting different rear shocks that would fit the factory location. I would highly recommend this to anybody looking to get the most out of their Tacoma to go this route. If you’re serious about performance you are going to be disappointed if you don’t relocate the shocks, this is the way. I did purchase the whole ultimate off road package from Archive. I spent a long time looking at different leaf packs and hangers flip kits etc. but I knew I would be disappointed if I didn’t relocate the shocks so I ultimately ended up with this package and it is great.
It was an amazing amount of parts they just kept coming and coming in the mail, I think it’s a bargain.
I went with their lightest leaf pack. It measures 38”the fender of the front and 39” in the rear .

These springs had a massive improvement on my truck's stability, handling on rough terrain, and, when the time comes, increase my payload capacity.
Worth every penny!
Great quality product! Clear directions for install. Looks great and performs flawlessly. A much needed improvement over my Dakars.
Needed some new Ubolts for my Archive overhaul. Shipping was quick, the u-bolts came wrapped and protected better than the Michelin man. Stoked to have them on my truck!
The kit with Opt. 3 contained everything I needed for the install. Springs are heavy and cumbersome to work with, but the install was very straightforward and the results are worth it. I'm so glad I did not experiment with AAL and bags and just jumped straight into this full kit. Fantastic product and support from Eric.
Already loaded up with 800lbs in the bed with zero sag on the leafs
All of the products were super straight forward to install with the included instruction. Kit came out awesome and seems to be built incredibly durable. Excited to see how it lasts long term.
Spring are great nice and firm. A complete change to the ride quality. Great product
This was a very cost effective addition to the Shackleton kit. Easy to install.
