Welp. I read every review, forum post, YouTube video about these before finally buying them. Now im wishing i had gotten these years ago. Comparing these to the stock hangers is like comparing a rope bridge to the Golden Gate Bridge. Forreal. Go hit a speedbump at 20 mph with your stock hangers and feel the back end play side to side for half a second after the hit. Install these-GONE is the shudder after hits. These are pure BEEF and the somewhat lengthy install is WORTH the payoff. Find a friend with an acetylene torch, cut the rivets off, grind the heads flush, drill into the CENTER of them 3/8”, punch them out with a LONG BARREL air hammer with a pointed tip.
Seriously wish i had done this before leaves, shocks, all that. Went ahead and got longer brake lines too. No regets! Well done, well done, well done Archive!
PS i have the gen 1 Ubolt flip from Accutune and i needed to “waller out” the ubolt holes because the Archive leaf packs are a bits of wider.
2013 DCLB with +400lbs bed weight (empty) and +1,800lbs (loaded down for expeditions).
These are fantastic. I got them with my Hammer Hangers and oh my god you can FEEL how solid the rear end is now. Not tol much to say other than i hmmed and hawwwed about getting these for too long and have zero regrets about pulling the trigger on them. Paired these with the traveler AAL, installation was a breeze and ride quality with the AAL and Archive Garage bump stops is equivalent to or better than stock with the weight of our Super Pacific wedge camper added the the mix. Thank you!
Initially tried an airbag kit to be able to modify the spring rate depending upon the loads, but the low clearance from frame to leaf spring didn't allow the suspension to work properly. We scrapped that idea and went with Archive's AAL and it put the "unloaded" ride height back to the factory height and supports the weight of our Super Pacific and minimal camping gear perfectly day-to-day. It still squats a little bit once fully loaded (to be expected), but still allows the suspension to work as it should.

This is an amazing product, you can use longer leafs then stock options and it's a solid heavy duty cross member..
I installed the add a leaf a month ago now. With probably 300 pounds of extra load on the rear they feel great. I’ll soon be adding a little more weight so I’ll have to see how they hold up.
Install was straightforward and simple enough to do in my driveway.
