from 244 reviewsI just finished installing these today. They’re not too hard to install just need to know how to weld. I installed them on my 97’ Tacoma and everything fit just fine, I installed them along side a pair of 2.5x12” locked off road smooth bodies and the rear end feels so much better. A couple things to keep in mind is where the mounts are fitted on the frame and the axle. For my reference I used the youtube video someone had posted on the reviews and that worked perfectly. I’d also keep in mind that with a 2.5 shock the tire comes extremely close to touching the shock body. I have 33x12.5x17 Toyo mt’s with -12 offset and a 1.5” wheel spacer and my tire still rubs on the shock bodies. I’d recommend one of these options, getting a wheel with a lot of offset, a wheel spacer, and running skinny tires if possible. Also keep in mind my brake line isn’t quite long enough. Also needed an U BOLT FLIP KIT. All of this is expected when getting an outboard shock relocation along side a 2.5 shock. AMAZING PRODUCT!
Good
Rides great
Quickly answered all my questions great customer service and great products!
High quality product and super easy to install.
I've had the Hammer Hangers on my truck for about 4 years now and absolutely loved how they improved ride quality. I recently noticed that my passenger side hanger was bent (apparently I've come down to hard on it a few times). So I bought the Crossbrace to hopefully pull it back into alignment and add some overall strength. Mission accomplished. Both hangers are now in line and I'm ready to go bash on them again.
Great quality product and really appreciate the help from the staff. The extra inch added to it helped out makes the truck look great. 10 out of 10 recommend
Very tough compared to stock brackets and hardware. Very happy.
Let me start by saying I was a little hesitant. I called and the owner took the time to explain to me what I was getting and what my outcome would be. And that is exactly what happened. I would consider myself a weekend warrior. I two a small camp trailer about twice a month. I have an overland rack with a little weight added. And just recently put a drifting lift on that netted +\- 2” in the front. This spring with the bump stop is perfect. It absolutely leveled my rig again and I really can’t tell that there is a helper spring. No more squatting rear end. If you are on the fence about this and you have seen horrible pictures of lesser quality helper springs on Amazon. Fear not. This is the one for you. And if you are going to be doing all the work to add the spring, you might as well get the bump stop and u-bolt flip. Thank you for a well engineered product and outstanding customer service.
Great quality products that are easy to install and improves my first Gen Tundra DC. I’d like to install some hammer hangers.
The add a leafs were exactly what I needed to get rid of the squat from my camper shell. Had some issues with the install and Eric was available on a Saturday to help troubleshoot and give suggestions, despite the issues being completely unrelated to his product. Awesome.
Great customer service and fast shipping! Archive is your go-to source for 1st gen Dodge trucks!
Purchased and installed a set of MD leaf springs on my first gen tundra. Super happy with them, a huge upgrade over my worn out, 26 year old springs. Install was pretty easy other than cutting off a few rusty bolts. Eric was super helpful in talking me through all of the options over the phone.
I had a great experience with Archive Garage. Before ordering, I spoke with Eric and he really took the time to understand my current setup and future plans. I told him I’m running Bilstein 6112 up front and Bilstein 5160 with AccuTune bump stops, and that I’m planning to add a Lone Peak camper on my Tacoma. He walked me through what the Erikson MD lift springs would feel like, how they would handle the added weight, and what to expect both on-road and off-road. What I liked most is he didn’t just try to sell parts he actually helped me plan my build the right way. He explained the balance between ride comfort and load support, and gave honest input on future upgrades I might need. Customer service and communication were excellent. If you’re building your Tacoma for overlanding or adding weight like a camper, I highly recommend Archive Garage.
